Solid masks replace pixels in flattened exports. The original and undo history remain available in this session until Clear. They are never included in a PNG/JPEG export. Mask the whole sensitive region and inspect the result.

Replace sensitive screenshot pixels

Choose Solid mask and cover the entire sensitive region. Masks use opaque colors and render after other annotations, replacing pixels before resizing and again in the final export. Review the flattened PNG/JPEG before sharing. The original and undo history remain recoverable inside this editing session until Clear; masks do not erase your source file. No editable project or original attachment is included in the flattened output. PNG provides exact lossless mask pixels; JPEG is lossy.

Limits: one active image, 25 MB, 30 megapixels, 12,000 pixels per edge, 100 annotations, and 50 undo states. Large exports also have a 65 million working-pixel guardrail. Try a smaller output width or crop if an export cannot fit. Clear closes the preview bitmap, cancels export work, and removes app references without claiming physical memory erasure. Real-device and cross-browser compatibility remain subject to validation.
